The air for rent fleet

The fleet covers the complete temporary aeration system from one supplier: turbocompressors, aerators and mixers, with all accessories, such as hoses, piping, control panels and, if needed, generators. Each product links to its own page with full technical details.

What is aeration blower rental?

Sulzer's Air for Rent fleet covers oil-free HST turbocompressors, standalone or containerized, as well as OKI aerator mixers and ABS XTA/XTAK submersible aerators, together with the accessories and technical services needed to connect them.

Because biological treatment often accounts for 50 to 60% of a plant's electricity consumption¹, a rental fleet built on high-efficiency turbocompressors keeps the plant compliant without driving up power costs.

Air for Rent works with any blower brand; most of our rentals replace failed third-party blowers.

Aeration blower rental is the temporary supply of blowers or turbocompressors that deliver process air to the biological stage of a wastewater treatment plant when permanent blowers fail, are being replaced or cannot meet demand.

How turnkey blower rental works

Planning and engineering
We assess your air demand, pressure and site conditions, then size the units and plan the connections.

Delivery and installation
We deliver standalone or containerized units with piping, hoses, cabling, valves and control panels, with a generator if no suitable power connection exists on site.

Commissioning
Our engineers connect and commission the blowers so they are ready for plug-and-play operation.

Monitoring and support
Our engineers monitor and support the units throughout the rental.

Extension or removal
Extend the rental if your project overruns, or we dismantle and collect the equipment
