This agreement establishes Sulzer as a partner supplier to Veolia, building on previous preferred supplier agreements for individual business areas, as well as ongoing collaborations in power generation and low carbon fuels. It is a group-level arrangement, with a much broader list of beneficiaries. In particular, it allows affiliates and companies with a Veolia interest to also benefit from Sulzer’s advanced water treatment equipment for enhanced operational efficiency and improved performance.

Alessandro Bertuzzo, WIBU Global Head of Sales at Sulzer, explains how the agreement represents the start of an exciting relationship: “This agreement formally acknowledges the benefit of partnering to improve energy efficiency, waste minimization, water optimization and decarbonization. We share a vision of success built on best practices, and our combined experience and expertise will drive even greater value for our customers.”

    July 16, 2024
Sulzer’s energy-efficient flow technologies are driving circular processes at the world’s largest water treatment facility. With a capacity of up to 7.5 million cubic meters per day, Egypt’s New Delta Treatment Plant is treating agricultural drainage water and wastewater from the region for reuse. The clean water produced at the plant will be reused to cultivate 1.2 million acres of arable land. Sulzer’s integrated solutions help treat water that is channeled along a 120 km-long waterway to support sustainable water management and food security for the area.
