November 16, 2021Sulzer Chairman of the Board Peter Löscher not standing for re-election in 2022
The long-serving Chairman of Sulzer Ltd, Peter Löscher, who has led the Board of Directors since 2014, will not stand for re-election at the 2022 Annual General Meeting.
Over the past eight years, Peter Löscher has not only strategically realigned the company by significantly reducing its exposure to oil and gas, but with his swift and decisive actions he has also prevented Sulzer from becoming inoperative following the US economic sanction regime in 2018.
The Board of Directors will pay tribute to Peter Löscher's achievements at a later date but thanks him already today for his lasting contribution to the development of the company. The Board of Directors will inform on the succession plan in due time.
