The new designed ultra high-performance trays used in Shell Turbo Technologies* can boost the performance of your absorbers in acid gas removal units (amine-based) by 100% and for natural gas dehydration units (TEG-based) equipped with high-capacity structured packing it offers a further capacity increase of at least 50%. References are available showing increases of up to 20% in amine duties and more than 50% in TEG dehydration.
If other process-related limitations outside the column can be addressed, increases of 100% to 200% can be achieved by replacing conventional trays or (high-performance) structured packing.
