Effective immediately, the agreement allows for a year-on-year extension. Both ATB LS and Sulzer believe this demonstrates the long term commitment and is testament to the strong, collaborative working relationship, whilst providing a high standard of service delivery. The agreement also allows for an exchange of technical, engineering and manufacturing data.

Keith Osbourne, After Sales Manager at ATB LS explains: "We have the unique ability to provide customers with over 100 years of technical expertise in fields as diverse as Processing, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Water, Sewage, Mining, Nuclear, and Defense environments. Coupled with Sulzer, one of the leading independent service providers for all brands of rotating equipment, including turbines, pumps, compressors, generators, and motors we will give our customers the best possible support with rapid response and quick turnarounds, whilst helping to reduce maintenance costs and increase availability of machinery."

ATB LS and Sulzer operate in very similar industrial areas and are both extremely experienced in mechanical and electrical equipment, with both companies having very high standards in product quality and reliability. As such, the decision by ATB LS to select Sulzer as an authorized repairer has been based on Sulzer’s expertise and worldwide service network. Both will continue to work closely with the network of OEMs, EPCs, Operators and End Users with routine and maintenance works respectively.

Initially, the agreement will cover the United Kingdom and UK sector of the North Sea Oil & Gas facilities but with the excellent trading relationships with Sulzer and ATB LS, it is envisaged that the agreement will expand to encompass Sulzer’s global network of facilities.
