Organistional change in Sulzer Wood

A new legal name, same great service. The organisational change will enable Sulzer to diversify into additional market segments as well as well as to improve in the oil & gas industry.
We are delighted to announce that as a result of plans to grow its Rotating Equipment Services business across the UK, Sulzer has reached agreement with Wood plc to acquire their entire 49% holding in the Sulzer Wood joint venture business. With effect from 1200 on Monday 22nd March 2021, the business will become a wholly owned Sulzer legal entity and will operate as Sulzer (Aberdeen) Limited.
There will be no major changes other than the change of registered company address, and the business will gradually modify its external branding to that of Sulzer during the course of the next 3 months.
This change allows the business to pursue other product lines and diversify into market segments beyond oil & gas in line with RES UK growth plans. We are excited by the prospects that this change offers, and we look forward to further development of our service offering across Scotland in conjunction with our colleagues in Alba Power and Sulzer EMS.
