Trays

Our extensive tray portfolio ranges from single pass to multi-downcomer and from conventional to high-performance trays, including the latest technology in ultra-system limit trays. All designs are tailored to meet the exact requirements of your specific application.

Our high performance trays, VGPlus™ and UFMPlus™ combine high capacity tray decks and advanced chordal downcomer technology for high column loads.

Longer run length of heavy-duty trays achieved through the use of large fixed valves and anti-fouling features on tray decks and downcomers. Sulzer offers SVG™ as our standard anti-fouling valve, UFM™ AF for high vapor handling capacity as well as extra-large size XVG™ for extreme fouling applications. Other anti-fouling tray features such as push valves and enhanced outlet weirs will also be applied.

Shell hifi tray 3D — The exclusive alliance with Shell Global Solutions enables us to offer the complete range of Shell tray technology with multi-downcomer principle for high liquid loads to you.

V-Grid trays — The V-Grid tray technology utilizes fixed valves, such as MVG™, MMVG™, which combines the attributes of sieve and float valves.

UFM single valve — Floating valve trays are used in applications where higher turndown ratios are required. We can provide trays with round valves or our proprietary BDH™ and UFM™ valves.

sieve tray — You can use sieve trays as a low cost mass transfer device where no high turndown rates are required.

Graphic of a standard bubble cap and slotted bubble cap — Bubble cap trays are generally used when no leakage is allowed. They are also used for low liquid loads and have a very high turndown ratio.

Dual flow tray with perforation — The dual flow and baffle trays complete the portfolio of trays. For applications with severe fouling we offer special trays.
