Top Employer 2023 in multiple countries

We wanted to expand our Top Employer certification to key markets this year to better demonstrate our commitment to best HR policy and people practices around the world. For 2023, Sulzer is recognized as a 2023 Top Employer in Brazil, China, Switzerland, the UK and the USA. We do everything we can to offer our employees a safe, inclusive, and meaningful work environment — and these Top Employer certifications demonstrate our commitment to best HR and people practices globally.

Top Employer recipients are surveyed, rated and independently audited against an international standard in a number of HR domains. Following extensive assessments, we achieved a remarkable average score of 85% across the board, while receiving exemplary score of 95% in Sustainability.

Pay parity at Sulzer Switzerland

As part of the Federal Act on Gender Equality, all companies in Switzerland with more than 100 employees were required to perform an equal pay analysis in 2021. According to this certified external assessment, we do not have any gender pay gap within the three entities at Sulzer Switzerland. These positive results for Switzerland demonstrate our commitment to an open and inclusive culture for all employees regardless of gender – a critical part of our Sustainable Sulzer initiative.

Best Employer in China

In 2022, Sulzer Dalian (FE Industry) received the Best Employer Award in Dalian. The award is given by the local government, with the consulting company Mercer supporting the evaluation.

Chemtech China won the Best Social Enterprise award for Greater China 2022. The evaluation is held by HRoot, which is a famous HR media platform in China.
