Customized condensate extraction pumps for gas-fired plants

Condensate extraction pumps (CEP) extract the condensate water from the condenser and pump it through the condensate polishing system and the LP heaters to the de-aerator feed water tank. In medium to large size gas-fired combined-cycle power plants, the CEP are vertical canned type to allow artifical creation of enough Net Positive Suction Head Available (NPSHA). In small power plants, the CEP could also be horizontal end-suction type.

  • SJD (CEP) vertical multistage can pump for condensate extraction
    SJD (CEP) pumps are specified wherever limited NPSH is available, either due to system constraints or liquids operating near to their vapor pressure. NPSH requirements of the pump are met by simply adjusting the length of the pump and can, with the advantage of minimized floor space usage.
