With 13’000 employees and a network of over 180 production and service sites all around the world, creating an inclusive work environment where people of different cultural backgrounds, nationalities, genders and ages can collaborate and contribute to our shared purpose is essential for us. We value the uniqueness of all our colleagues, and we appreciate the contributions that each of us makes to the company’s success.

We have laid down our commitment to promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion across the organization in a global guideline, which at the same time outlines the behaviors expected from employees and managers. DEI topics have been integrated into all our global management training programs, and conscious HR practices as well as trainings in inclusive hiring aim to increase the representation of underrepresented groups in our workforce.

Our policy on flexible working, introduced in 2021, offers employees the flexibility they need at different career and life stages. Where possible, it allows for a flexible start and end of the working day, remote work for part of the week, and temporary reductions in working hours.

Finally, recognizing that the industrial manufacturing and services industry as a whole has been largely male-dominated, we have taken action to promote gender diversity throughout our industry. In 2019, we founded a scholarship for Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), through which we support female students in the STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) in close collaboration with selected academic institutions.
