"Everyone should have access to clean, safe drinking water and adequate water for sanitation. We can make our world a better place to live in if we keep nurturing the life cycle of water with technological progress. Meeting global water needs requires our action on two fronts: developing industrial processes to improve water quality and transport and furthering research on the combination of industrial processes and nature-based solutions. World Water Day provides the chance to make a difference for the members of the global population who suffer from water-related issues. It’s a day to prepare for the future challenges of water management. And most of all, it’s an opportunity to take action, encourage engagement and share knowledge on the importance of freshwater resources."
