Latest News Sulzer Turbo Services: New-Parts Orders from China Sulzer Turbo Services At the end of 2007, Sulzer Elbar, a Dutch company of Sulzer Turbo Services, received orders from 2 customers for manufacture and supply of first stage rotating blades and a stage-2 nozzle assembly of two popular types of gas turbines. The nozzle order is Sulzer Elbar’s first out of China for this type and will be delivered and installed during 2008. Since there are over 60 gas turbines of this type in operation in China, the order is a breakthrough in this promising market for Sulzer Elbar’s new-parts program. Also in Asia, Sulzer Elbar was awarded a contract to manufacture and supply 2 sets of stage-1 blades for a different type of gas turbine.
