Mosimann, a graduate engineer from the ETH Zurich, is taking this opportunity at 46 to double his sales responsibility by becoming CEO of Bucher Industries, a publicly listed company. Since Ulrich Bolleter has been his deputy so far, the reins will be handed over smoothly. Bolleter held various management positions in the Sulzer Corporation prior to joining Sulzer Textil, including some time as head of the central research division Sulzer Innotec.

Sulzer Textil business developments for the first quarter 2001 were very positive, with substantially higher order intake than in prior year. Within the framework of the Sulzer Industries focusing strategy, divestiture negotiations for the entire Sulzer Textil group will nevertheless continue as planned.
