Sulzer Value Added

The Sulzer Value Added is an indicator of how much value the corporation creates for different stakeholders. The Sustainability Summary defines it as sales minus material expenses. As in previous years, the most important component of the Sulzer Value Added went as personnel cost to the Sulzer employees. Other important components are taxes, interest expenses, dividends to shareholders, reinvestments in the group, and other expenses (including e.g., administrative costs, energy costs, and amortization). In 2007, all components were increased compared with 2006.
