Building on an already high 2006 volume base, Sulzer increased sales in 2007 by 26.2% to CHF 3 537.0 million. Operating income (EBIT) of the divisions was up 39.9% to CHF 416.4 million, resulting in a return on sales (ROS) of 11.8% and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 27.2%.
