Sulzer Metco’s newest plasma spray gun, the TriplexPro™-200 has a range of capability not previously achievable by any other spray gun on the market. Efficiency throughput (deposit efficiency vs. feed rate of the coating material) is as much as four times better than conventional plasma spray guns. Previous spray guns of this design were highly suited for use in niche applications, such as high-volume Chrome Oxide coating of anilox rollers for printing machines. TriplexPro 200 has a wider application range, with capability to apply high quality coatings using the entire spectrum of plasma spray materials. These include metals, metallic alloys, superalloys, ceramics, carbides, cermets, blended materials, and composite materials. |
