Hybrid Gauze Packing AYPlus™ DC

AYPlus™ DC is based on a newly developed hybrid gauze material combination and the geometry of MellapakPlusTM 252.Y. AYPlus DC has a distinctly increased separation efficiency compared to MellapakPlus 252.Y, in particular at low liquid loads and with aqueous systems.

Gauze Packings

BX gauze packing has been successfully employed in the industry for over 50 years. BXPlus is the latest generation of gauze packing and offers the same efficiency as BX with a 20% lower pressure drop. CY packing was developed for separations that require a large number of theoretical stages.

Laboratory Packings

For small laboratory column diameters we can offer you specially designed packing types for a preliminary assessment of a separation task. They offer you the highest number of theoretical stages while keeping a small pressure drop.

Packings for Corrosive Systems

In cases where corrosion is a main issue and metal packings are not an option, we can offer you structured packings made of carbon and of different thermoplastic materials.

Structured Grid Packings

Grids are developed for severe services that are susceptible to fouling, erosion, coking, and high solids content. Grids are installed in rigid modules stacked in successive layers with a fixed orientation, thus minimizing the overall pressure drop while simultaneously increasing tower efficiency.
