Welding Shop

Weld assemblies involving challenging materials, geometries, and usages are our specialty. Our group does more than manufacture new parts. We can perform repair welding in-house or on-site at your facilities. A whole spectrum of welder training is provided at our shop.

For decades, the Sulzer Innotec welding shop has been recognized for its competency handling challenging welding situations. Our global customer base relies on our experience and expertise for both manufacturing new products and repairing existing parts.

We have over a thousand valid Procedure Qualification Records (PQR). If necessary, our in-house welding engineers can also develop and qualify new procedures according to your requirements.

Individual training for external welders is offered at our training center or at a customer's site. We are accredited to conduct welder examinations according to relevant regulations.

Welder Training and Examination

Individualized welding training can be provided at our training center in Winterthur or at your facilities. Our certified examiners conduct welding qualification examinations according to regulation. We have the right resources to optimize your welders’ operational excellence.

Heat Treatment Services

Heat treatment is a vital manufacturing step for welding, and is typically specified in the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS). Our educated and experienced staff ensures a well-prepared and controlled heat treatment in our shop or on-site with our portable equipment.
