The Acoustics group consults on noise abatement to sound design for diverse applications. Successful projects include hearing aids, household appliances, construction machines, vehicles of all kinds, and marine engines. We perform experiments in our labs, at your test facilities, or in the field.

Development of recommendations and countermeasures

We measure, analyze, and interpret results in order to derive recommendations to solve the existing problem. With our extensive knowledge in machinery dynamics, we go beyond the installation of noise barriers, and develop optimal solutions that eliminate noise problems at the source. Both experimental methods and tools for numerical simulations are available.
