| In compliance with the federal law on stock exchanges and stock brokerage (Bundesgesetz über die Börsen und den Effektenhandel), UBS Ltd, Bahnhofstrasse 45, Zurich, has announced that it has held temporarily participations above 5% in Sulzer Ltd as per March 6, 2007. According to its own accounts, UBS Ltd has held a total of 185,156 shares of Sulzer Ltd. This was equivalent to 5.089% of the voting rights.
In compliance with the federal law on stock exchanges and stock brokerage, UBS Ltd, Bahnhofstrasse 45, Zurich, has announced that it again owns less than 5% of Sulzer’s share capital as of March 8, 2007.
