Executive Committee

The Sulzer Executive Committee consists of the CEO, the CFO, the Division Presidents, and the General Counsel (vacant). Klaus Stahlmann was appointed CEO as of February 2012.

Information

The Executive Committee consists of the CEO, the CFO, the Division Presidents, and the General Counsel (vacant). Klaus Stahlmann joined the company as CEO on February 22, 2012 and succeeded CFO Jürgen Brandt who acted as ad interim CEO since November 1, 2011. Executive management powers are delegated by the Board of Directors to the CEO. The Division Presidents are charged by the CEO with defining and attaining business targets for their respective divisions in accordance with corporate goals. The appropriate powers have largely been delegated to the Division Presidents by the CEO. The organization regulation governs, among other things, the transfer of responsibilities from the Board of Directors to the CEO, and this regulation can be viewed at sulzer.com/regulations. The other members of the Executive Committee support the CEO in his corporate management tasks. There are no management contracts with third parties.
